David C. Rohrbach is Of Counsel to Roeder, Cochran, Phillips, PLLC. He also is a founding partner of Rohrbach Rosenthal LLP in Alexandria, Virginia.
Mr. Rohrbach represents and advises clients in civil litigation matters, including appeals. He has represented and counseled businesses and individuals in a variety of matters, including cases involving breach of contract, fraud, civil conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference with contract, real estate disputes, will contests, and employment issues. Mr. Rohrbach regularly appears in courts in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Rohrbach also regularly assists clients in reviewing and negotiating employment agreements, leases, and other contracts.
Mr. Rohrbach grew up in Connecticut. He studied history at Yale and earned his law degree at Harvard. While in law school, Mr. Rohrbach was a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, where he represented indigent clients in disability benefits, landlord/tenant, and family law matters.
After law school, Mr. Rohrbach was a litigation associate at Ropes & Gray in Boston. Before partnering with Edward Rosenthal in 2020 to form Rohrbach Rosenthal LLP, Mr. Rohrbach was a litigation partner at Rich Rosenthal Brincefield Manitta Dzubin & Kroeger in Alexandria, Virginia, and, before that, a litigation partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman in Washington, DC. He also has taught legal writing and analysis as an Adjunct Professor at American University, Washington College of Law.
Mr. Rohrbach is a member of the bars of Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Massachusetts. He is a member of the Alexandria Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He previously served on the Judicial Screening Committee of the Alexandria Bar Association.
