Marissa brings extensive knowledge of the probate process to her clients, having served as a law clerk for John H. Rust, Jr., Commissioner of Accounts for Fairfax County, Virginia. Marissa represents fiduciaries for estates, trusts, conservatorships, guardianships for incapacitated adults, and guardianships for minor children. In all administration matters, Marissa works holistically with clients and their trusted professionals to reduce administrative burdens. Marissa also represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in contested matters, including hearings before the Commissioner of Accounts, will contests, undue influence actions, and breach of fiduciary duty actions. Marissa lives in Chantilly, Virginia with her husband and daughter.
